Product Performance of Sorbitan monolaurate:
Sorbitan monolaurate sorbitol as raw material, after dehydration closed-loop, generate Sorbitan again with lauric acid esterification reaction. Disperse in water as an emulsion. It can be miscible with organic solvents and oils and has good emulsification, infiltration, dispersion and decontamination properties.

Food grade Sorbitan Monolaurate is available as an emulsifier in the food according to GB 25551.

Sorbitan monolingual aurate is a W/O emulsifier, stabilizer, plasticizer, lubricant and desiccant for cosmetic products. In the textile industry, it is used as a softener, antistatic agent, finishing agent and also used as a mechanical lubricant, as an additive antifogging agent, with good initial and low-temperature antifogging properties, suitable for PVC (1-1.5%), polyolefin film (0.5-0.7%), EVA film, etc.
