Applications Petroleum Sulfonate

This product is a anionic surfactant that is prepared from crude oil fractions by sulfonation. Its lipophilic structure includes linear alkyl benzene, branched alkyl benzene, and alkyl cycloalkyl benzene. It has excellent interfacial properties for naphthenic oil, and can lower the oil-water tension interfacial to an ultra low level. This product can be used with oil blocks that have formation water salt levels between 500 and 30000mg/L. It has excellent resistance against calcium and magnesium ions. The product is also able to reverse wetting, has anti-adsorption properties, and can moderately emulsify crude oil. It increases the recovery rate and reduces the water content from 98% in the used block to 85%.
