AEG Alkyl-ethoxy polyglycosides Product Performance:

AEG has a molecular shape that is equivalent to adding a polyoxyethylene link between the hydrophilic ring of sugar and the alkane group hydrophobic of APG. This is similar to structural changes between sodium alcohol ether sulfate AES and sodium alkylsulfate AS(K12). AEG offers better water solubility and mild compatibility than APG. Low surface tension. Strong detergent, alkali resistance. The formulation system has a good viscosity. Easy to biodegrade.

Applications AEG Alkyl Ethoxy Polyglycosides :

AEG, APG & fatty alcohol ether (non-ionic) surfactants offer improved alternatives. Especially its mild performance and viscous emulsions. AEG can be used as a skin moisturizing agent and a wash ingredient. The foam formula is smooth and gentle, unlike other hand sanitizers that are sticky and slippery. Blow-dried skin is moist and comfortable. AEG+AEC can be combined to create a slightly acidic or alkaline formula that relies on effective cleaning to achieve brighter clothes. Concentration formulas can produce A-class products. AEG formula bath lotion has excellent performance in viscosity. It is easy to flush and does not differ in foaming rate, amount of foam, foam fineness and other skin feelings. AEG and APG were substituted for 3% AES active substances in formulas containing AES and amine-oxide. These changes can help reduce irritation.
AEG foams well and has excellent rheological characteristics. The viscosity of AEG is not affected by temperature changes. Alkyl Ethoxy Polyglycosides are 1.8x more effective than TX-10 at removing benzene from water and have potential as an emulsifier for pesticides.
