Beryllium nitride. Be3N2 (Be6Azide) It does not break down in vacuum into nitrogen and beryllium, unlike Ben6 or beryllium zide. This is very easy to break down to create hydroxide, and ammonia. The hexagonal and cubic a-Be3N2 forms have different polymorphic structures with deficient antifluorite properties. The reaction with silicon nitride or silicon nitride causes BeSin2 to be formed in ammonia flow at 1800-1900degC.

Beryllium nutride (Be3N2) can be described as a combination of beryllium-nitrogen. It is produced by heating beryllium powder and dry nitrogen at high temperatures (1100-1500degC). It is reactive, and it is easily oxidized by air at 600°C.
Beryllium-nitrite, a fine-white crystal with stable alpha-Be3N2, is a bore-centered cubic crystalline. If heated to 1400 degrees, it can turn into a high temperature bBe3N2 (hexagonal). The temperature of 600 heats it up to 600 and the ammonia does not change in air. In contact with water, ammonia can be released and promote hydrolysis of acidic or alkaline solutions.

Beryllium nutride can be made by heating dry nitrogen and beryllium metal in an oxygen-free room at temperatures ranging from 700°C to 1400°C.
You can prepare the metal beryllium by heating ammonia in a stream. It is easy to react and yields high quantities.

The crushed metal beryllium was then sieved (1600 wells per cm2 sieve), put in corundum boats, dried ammonia and then inserted in porcelain tubes and heated to 850 degrees for 3 hours. Next, the sample is ground in an agate mortar. The ammonia stream then heats it to 1000°C. Beryllium-nitride Be3N2 is possible after three more operations. It has a purity level of 94% to 95%.
