5A molecularsieve is calcium A-type silicon aluminate. A molecular sieve 5A can absorb molecules whose critical size is less than 5A. All molecular molecules which can be adsorbed using 3A and 4A molecularsieves can be adsorbed via 5A.
5A molecularsieve is calcium A-type silicon aluminate. A molecular sieve 5A can absorb molecules whose critical size is less than 5A. All molecular molecules which can be adsorbed using 3A and 4A molecularsieves can also be adsorbed on the 5A type. By selective adsorption, righteous alkanes are separated from branched and cyclic hydrocarbons. The industrial separation of large-scale, normal alkanes is its main purpose. 5A molecular sieve may also be used to produce pressure swing-adsorption hydrogen.
