The night seems shorter this tme of year. A long days end draws to a near. Say your not. Straining to hear. The trees they speak with every bending branch. And my heart slows to the beat of a clock. Draw the curtain. And pull back the blinds. A train in the distance doesn’t stop at the day. Yet i close up to sleep. My mother graced yhe room and what she said was right.
