As she spoke she had that tune,
like music to my ears
The tune upon her lips has past
She was my role model, hero, and soul
But now that she’s gone my heart is not whole

That spunk she had and with her wit,
she always found a way
To make me smile and make
my troubles go away

But then the dreadful news on that windy day
I will never forget how I felt and
looked, and sobbed when I tried to say
“I Love U”

I hated the way your tummy grew and how
you grew in pain
I always loved to help but I knew
I would slip and say “don’t leave me alone
I need you, your mine”

I know what they say
You’ll still be here
But when I dream it’s true
You talk, you walk, you run, and play but
when I wake you disappear

You are my Nana you are a
part of me and for that I am proud,
You’ll be my guardian angel now until we
meet again
